“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” – (Wikipedia)

Disneyland Park is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of The Walt Disney Company. Dedicated on July 17, 1955, and still almost universally referred to by that name, it is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
There are other theme parks at Orlando, Florida & Paris. Hong Kong in China has one too & plans are afoot to build one in Shanghai.
We stayed at Howard Johnson Fullerton, Los Angeles during the recent summer of 2012. It was convenient for us to get to Disneyland by the free hotel shuttle provided with frequent departure & pick-up times.
Disneyland has attracted millions of tourists enchanted by the wonder of this magical fantastical world – Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland & Mickey’s Toontown. If you are an adrenaline junkie, you’ll be thrilled with the adventurous rides of the Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean & Indiana Jones.
When you are there, you must not miss the highlights of the daily dressed parade of all the favourite cartoon figures such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other Disney cartoons & princesses accompanied by great familiar Disney music. Be prepared to stay on till nightfall when the whole Disney world gets lighted with fireworks to be remembered.

Though we could never remain as little children,
we can always be young at heart.
However, it’s a “Foreverland”
A land that can never be in real life!
Do dreams come true?
Yes, with a resounding yell we can affirm , only part of it. We were brought into a Never, Never Land of Peter Pan and his gang and of course Tinkle Bell, but to be honest, having seen how films, colossal ones were made – such as The Ten Commandments – we felt “cheated”.
It’s interesting that we happened to visit some common places too. Did you notice that Paul . . .?
