. . . with a mission to fullfil His Great Commission
When God first shows you a vision, it’s blur and unclear … for our finite minds just cannot grasp things beyond our imagination. He often shows you a bit at a time. In time, the vision becomes clearer and like a jigsaw puzzle, the pieces will begin to piece together to give you the Big Picture.
The following verses are noteworthy:
. “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and , I too, am working. I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself ; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him, all He does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.”- John 5:17, 19-20
. ” It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”- Philippians 2:13
. ” I am the vine ; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”-John 15:5
. Jesus replied: ” Love the Lord your God with all your your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” – Mathew 22:37-38
. “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” – John 14:21
.”He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not is that you do not belong to God.”- John 8:47
. “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exits and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”- Hebrew 11:6
. ” When God tells you what He wants to do through you, you will face a “crisis of belief.” Jesus looked at them and said, ‘ With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’ “- Mark 10:27
. You cannot remain where you are and go with God. Adjustments in your life need to be made. ” Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.”- Luke 14:33
. Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” – John 14:23
Whatever God initiates, He always complete. It will always be God-sized beyond human endeavour.
Initially God said this to me: “Build My Church shaped in the form of a Huge Cross up in the hill overlooking Perth. Light it up at night. Let it be a shining beacon to the world below.”
I saw the huge cross-structure, white in colour, rising and towering prominently on the Darling Range escarpment… its vertical pointing towards heaven, and with its horizontals encompassing far and wide from East to West. At night the structure shines as a bright beacon as far as the eyes can behold. When viewed from afar, it has the wonder to zoom right in front of your eyes, appearing so bright and near beckoning you to “come hither.”
Subsequently revelations from God stipulate that the structure, symbolic of the Cross at Calvary, will be the “Prayer Mountain” with seven levels for fasting and prayer. The foundation and peripheral building on the Holy Site of just over 6 Acres, will also be shaped in the form of a Cross when viewed from above. This sacred site was also revealed to me… something which brought on my initial “crisis of belief.”
God’s plan and purpose are often revealed on mountain top. God wants to draw us close to Him and to prepare us as the Day draws near. In Isaiah 2:2-4 the LORD says, ” In the last days the mountain of the LORD’S temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach you us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths…”
After a period of a few months of “delayed obedience” (which tantamount to “disobedience”), a group of thirteen of us assembled one bright and beautiful Sunday Spring morning of 28 September 1997 at seven. Under a clear blue cloudless sky, we praised and worshipped God with the wonderful strains of music from Pastor Jeffrey Saw’s guitar.
An hour after this Dedication Service to claim the Holy Ground in the name of Jesus, the clear blue skywas suddenly transformed. A strange and delightful phenomenon of the “Full Circle of the Rainbow ” appeared up above. SisterValerie Hamilton was the first to behold it. Some of us stood in awe and wonder. Others fell on to their knees. I was prostrating, weeping and sobbing uncontrollably. ( This is the second time I ever cried in public. The first being the time when I was first saved at the Abundant Life Centre in Kuala Lumpur around September 1979). For I have prayed for a sign of confirmation, and then I realised the heavy burden God has placed on me.
Mathew 16:3 says: “You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.”
” If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” – 1John 1:7
This”Full Circle of the Rainbow” phenomenon has been mentioned in the Bible twice only. Ezekiel 1:28 and Revelation 4:3, which include of the “full circle of the rainbow” of God’s glory. The day when we come face to face with God, we shall begin to understand the full circle of His glory, His kindness to man, His love and wisdom. We only see a part rainbow occasionally. God sees it continually. Rainbow had a special srgificance to Noah’s descendants, that the rain would never be again become an earth-engulfing flood. We know that it is the sun which shines through the rain which paints the beauty of the rainbow. Spiritually, we also know that it is when “a person consciously sees the smile and love of God in the midst of present trouble that the true glory and beauty of Christian’s life is revealed to the world around.”
The names of the privileged 13 who witnessed the wonder of God are:
Eng Siong, Peggy & Josephine Liau
Eric & Helena Khoo
Darren & Agnes Meerwald
Pastor Jeffrey Saw
Valerie Hamilton
Helen Anderson
Peter Sein Cho
Paul & Lilian Chong
The question is how much significance does the “Full Rainbow” has on each one of them and you too? To Noah’s descendants, they would never cease to rejoice and praise God by the promise of the rainbow – and that, it’s not even a ” Full Rainbow”. Are you heeding God’s signs and wonder?
Remember, God loves you and He has a purpose and plan for you..
“The harvest is plentiful…but the labourers are few.”
